We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, harassment-free conference for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, committee members or staff in any form.
Harassment includes but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments or social media posts/blogs related to sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, disciplinary affiliation, or religion or belief. It also includes intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.
Actions inconsistent with this code of conduct, including disruptive or harassing behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
How to Report An Incident
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff as soon as possible. Conference staff will be wearing branded T shirts and badges.
Conference staff will help participants contact venue security or the police, arrange escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
Attendees asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
Attendees violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference without a refund, at the sole discretion of the conference organisers.
